What Is Illustrator?
Illustrator is a program created by Adobe which is similar toward their other photo-editing software Photoshop, the main difference being that Illustrator uses Vector-Based Graphics I.E. Graphics that use lines/vectors instead of Photoshop's pixels known as Raster Graphics.
How To Use The Laser-Cutter:
Step One: Create Your Illustrator Design
Step Two: Export It To A Portable Media Device (I.E. Thumb-drive)
Step Three: Plug The Device Into The Laser-Cutter Laptop
Step Four: Open Up Your Design In Illustrator And Print To The Laser-Cutter (Make Sure You Read The Checklist To Find Out How To Select Your Material For The Laser-Cutter)
Step Five: Open Up The Laser-Cutter App And Place The Design Where You Would Want It To Be On The Laser-Cutter
Step Six: (Assuming You Have Your Material In The Laser-Cutter) Begin Laser-Cutting!
How To Apply Vinyl:
Adobe Illustrator can also be used to make vinyl decals (in this case we created a decal for the surface of our notebooks)
Our teacher was the one who created a design for the vinyl cutter using Adobe Illustrator
Next it went to the Vinyl Cutter,
Then Finally we peeled the decal off and stuck it on our notebooks:
